- Maintain Standard Parameter:
- DM Water/Drinking Water
- Boiler feed water.
- Engine Cooling water.
- HFO/Lube Oil sample.
- OTP discharge water.
- Swimming Pool water.
- Chemical Testing and Analyzing:
- Engine cooling water (Nitrate, Iron, Silica, calcium Hardness, Magnesium Hardness, TDS, Chloride, etc.)
- Boiler Feed Waster (Alkalinity, Silica, PH, Iron, Orthophosphate (PO4), Sulfite (SO3), TDS, Conductivity, etc.)
- HFO Sample (Water Content, Viscosity and Density, etc.)
- Lube Oil Sample (TBN, Viscosity, Water content, etc.)
- DM Water (TDS, Conductivity, etc.)
- Calibration: Laboratory testing instruments and measuring equipment.
- Checking and monitoring: Vessel HFO sample, boiler and Cooling Water Sample, WTP water sample.
- Record Keeping: All types of Testing parameters, Chemical and Water consumption, Operational documents of WTP/OTP, Fire Water pump, Sample and Calibration documents, Chemicals office note registrar etc.
- Supervising: Chemical dosing of WTP, Gensets and OTP carried out by the operator in the laboratory section, with emphasis on IMS Policy.
- Saftey Inspection: Inspect chemical, lube oil, additives for its consumption, stocks and organizing in proper place with safety.
- Safety Insuring: Have to maintain an injury free, clean and safe plant environment.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering
- At least Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Applied Chemistry.
Experience Requirements
- At most 2 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 35 years
- At least 2 yrs as chemist preferably in HFO power plant.
