Job Context
- The position mandated by The Factories Act. Incumbent is responsible for implementation of various Labour Laws including health and welfare measures with the aim to improve conditions under which staff/ workers are employed and work. Position will ensure compliance even for Contractual workforce too.
- The position is functionally responsible for leading all IR initiatives such as Labour Law compliance, grievance handling, implementing policies, liaising with government authorities

- Reports to (Job Title): Controller - Factory HR & Administration
Job Responsibilities
- Encourage & monitor different committee's like Joint production committee, cooperative, welfare committee etc
- Ensure fulfillment of statutory returns and updating of records as per Labor Laws
- Ensure Clearance in Legal Audits
- Relationship building and maintaining rapport with other factories in vicinity as well with external & internal business partner
- Employee's Grievance handling
- Continuously engage in developing standard of labor & their welfare and make recommendation
- Provide timely IR updates to Controller Factory - HR
- Ensure administration services are up to standards as well complied, be it at canteen, rest room, day care center, toilet facilities, drinking water etc
- Develop training program of newly recruited workers, develop education standard, encourage workers to join Technical institute and help management to nominate them for training
- Liaise with concerned & monitor different aspects of welfare program like social engagement, health care, opportunities for children educational, labor welfare etc.
- Ensure Management & Workers to adhere Rules & Regulations in the organization as per Labor Laws
- Liaise with concerned to communicate with in-house & hospital doctors for better treatment of workers
- Have explicit discussion between the Management and Representatives of the Employee's Union regarding their wages, benefit and other welfare scheme including Employment rules and regulations
- Initiate action to settle any kind of differences arising between the management and employee
- Understand Employee's opinion, support and help the management and employee's to overcome the differences

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Experienced and trained related to Labor and Industries
- Well skilled on Labor Law, Industrial Relation and Industrial Dispute
- Well communication skill in English & Bengali
- Excellent in people management
- Must have computer knowledge in MS Office
- Must have excellent in Presentation Skill and analytical ability
- Can do attitude, Patience & self-motivated
- Positive thinker, emotional intelligent, innovative thinking
- Can adapt in challenging and changing environment
- Willing to travel
